About us

Founded in 2011, the Low Carbon Design Society of Hong Kong (LCDSHK) was established by a team of enthusiastic designers, engineers and professionals, with an aim to promoting the application of low carbon design for the betterment of environment and quality of life. Through organizing various activities, LCDSHK aims to facilitate the collaboration of local industries in applying low carbon design. The LCDSHK also connects with the related Mainland and overseas organizations for sharing experience in practicing low carbon design.

Mission

The LCDSHK mission is to raise the public awareness on low carbon design concept and to promote the application of low carbon design in product development in order to reduce its associated environmental impacts. The LCDSHK also facilitates knowledge sharing, design creativity, competitive advantages and business synergy among professionals in various industries.
